Check out Mel B's rumoured new single titled 'Who's Is It' I'm guessing it's a reference to Eddie Murphy and the Baby. The song itself is a cover of a Dainty Kane track, I really like it, good beats. It should do well with the right promotion. Mel's 3rd album is due out in 2009 and I just hope the whole thing isn't about Eddie Murphy, she apparently has another song on there called 'Beverly Hills C*ock' hmmmm lol

It has been revealed that Britney is shooting TWO videos back to back, one for Circus and one for a ballad and that the label haven't yet decided which order to release them in, I'm hoping it'll be 'Circus' first if that's the more uptempo of the two. Exciting stuff.

Good performance, Missy looks kinda 'short and dumpy' with the sexy, slim Pussycat Dolls ... lets hope the promo keeps going and picks up the sales of the album which is underperforming, it's a shame because the album is amazing, just another example of poor management by Interscope ... but thats a whole different topic ....

Not a fan of the song myself, I hoped for something better from her but then it is for a greatest hits and not to launch a new album as such so maybe the lead single from her next album will be better. Videos not too bad though.

It is rumoured that Brit will re-record 'Baby One More Time' and give it a 2008 feel, it is also said it may be included as a bonus track on Circus (due Dec 2nd in the US) It will be re-mastered by Max Martin and is meant to be called just 'One More Time'
Personally I like the idea, I think it would make a good bonus track, what do you guys think? feel free to discuss it in the chat box on the right ...

Here is the video for Keri's new single, it's not a bad video, a little hard on the eyes when it keeps flickering and I'm not keen on the reference to 'The Way I Are' at the start, bit of a cheap gimmick if you ask me but over all a very good song and not bad video, should have been the lead single to launch her solo album, I won't bother stating the release date of the album because it's bound to get pushed back again, what a joke this project is. Shame.

I'm wondering how many more singles she can drag out of this album! it'll end up being a greatest hits album at this rate! Oh and I'm not sure I'm liking the funny tartan outfit she is wearing, hmmmm ...

Clips have surfaced of the album, I must say i'm not overly impressed to be honest, it's a shame because after the Sugababes terrible album I was hoping Girls Aloud would hav a great pop album but it sounds a bit dull, there are a few tracks i like the sound of and I'm sure when I hear the album in full I'll love it but these clips don't strike me as being brilliant, it's due out on the 3rd Nov 08

Rap-Up has revealed the next 2 singles will be Halo (From 'I Am ... Beyonce') and Ego (From 'I Am ... Sasha Fierce')
It sounds like she'll be releasing 2 singles each time for this album, one Pop ballad and one R'n'B banger, it's a very different approach I guess and we'll see how it does, how will she promote 2 singles? how well will they both chart? No doubt if it works we'll see more and more artists adopt this technique.
Halo - Ballad, heavy drums, claps, pianos and strong vocals
Ego - Funky, loud trumpets, organs and a favourite at the listening party

The Saturdays debut album Chasing Lights is due for release on Monday 27th October, various clips and songs have leaked onto the Internet in the last few months but the final tracklisting is:

1. If This Is Love
2. Up
3. Keep Her
4. Issues
5. Lies
6. Work
7. Chasing Lights
8. Set Me Off
9. Fall
10. Vulnerable
11. Why Me, Why Now
12. Up (Wideboys Remix)

It is a very uptempo album, there are so many single choices the label can go with but I personally would like to see either Lies, Work or Keep Her as the third single but that would be 3 uptempo singles in a row and that's not usually the done thing - although there is no reason why The Saturdays can't break that mould.

In my opinion this is a million times better than the Sugababes album, we're yet to hear Girls Aloud's offering but they'll have a job to top this masterpiece. I hope this album does well in the charts and regardless of it's sales good or bad the label need to stick by them and take the time to build up a fan base like Girls Aloud and Sugababes have.

Verdict: A fantastic pop album and a very strong debut album 8/10

You can buy this on special offer from HMV for a mere £6.99

Above is last nights performance of Michael Jacksons - The Way You Make Me Feel, it was nice to see them tackle an upbeat song, they did a really good job on it. I think this country really lacks a decent boyband as all we seem to have at the moment is reformed 90's boybands which is a bit boring really so a new boyband is definitely needed. I just hope that people vote for them, it's a really strong year this year for tallent so it's wide open and anyone could win it, if they'd have been in last years one they'd have won no problem at all as the talent seemed to have taken a year off and we ended up with Leon *yawns*

Ok I've liked most of the Sugababes albums, and when I heard there was a new one coming out this year I was actually really excited to hear it - then I heard 'Girls' and at that point I lost interest. However upon hearing that there were clips on HMV's website I thought I'd check them out, now my personal opinion is that they all sound the same, they are boring and the babes have lost there 'edge' but then what did I expect when the album was launched with a single that is a cover of a Boots advert!

This one Sugababes album I can't see being in my music collection anytime soon! Saying that some of you may like it so check it out and make your own judgements ...

I'd say 'I'm Not Dead' was better, still I hope it charts well for her.

"I sit there and I look back," "I'm a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?"

Check out the preview above for possibly the worlds most anticipated documentary, it's set to air on MTV in the US on November 30th. Below is the press release from MTV

Britney Spears 'Sets The Record Straight' In Documentary on MTV

In the special, Britney reflects on hardships of the past few years: 'What the hell was I thinking?'

By Jocelyn Vena

Possibly more than anyone on Earth, Britney Spears' life is constantly documented by the media, which voraciously reports on the singer's every step and misstep. But what's it like to be in her shoes?

With her new album, Circus, set for release in just a few weeks, the singer is ready to show the world her side of the story.

Britney has joined forces with MTV for a 90-minute documentary about her return to the pop-music spotlight. Tentatively titled "For the Record," the special is set to air on November 30 at 10 p.m. on MTV, two days before Circus is released on December 2 (the singer's 27th birthday).

"So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there's a lot that people don't know about me that I want them to know," Spears told MTV News in a statement about the special. "I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn't being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I've been through and where I'm headed."

The documentary combines personal stories with behind-the-scenes footage of her comeback. Cameras follow her to the recording studio, to rehearsals, to press tours, to the video shoot for her latest single, "Womanizer," and even to her hometown in Louisiana. Backstage footage from her recent triumphant appearance at the Video Music Awards is also featured.

Through it all, we hear Britney talking about the hardships that led up to this comeback. "I've been through a lot, and there's a lot people don't know," she says in the film. "Sometimes it can get lonely 'cause you don't open the gate. I'm stuck in this place, and I just cope every day."

Britney also owns up to the mistakes the world has watched her make, and offers some telling insight into how she feels about it all now. "I sit there and I look back," she says, before asking rhetorically: "I'm a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?"

"For the Record" airs Sunday, November 30 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.

Looks set to be a FANTASTIC video, looks like the 'Toxic' video with lots of different looks, I'm really pleased she's back and having the comeback we've all been waiting for. Blackout was amazing, it was my favourite album of 2007 but it just wasn't Britney if you know what I mean, ok so she recorded it but at the time she was so all over the place it just didn't feel like it was her. I'm looking forward to 'Circus' as this whole project looks set to b amazing and a huge hit.
